When ordering order one MUCH larger than you need. I ordered an extra large for my Lab and it was too small. I have a rescue farm so it will get used on another in the future. I probably should have ordered an xxxl.My dog got hurt on a fence and needed 11 staples. She went through those cheep plastic cones fast (three of them). This one seemed very comfortable for her. She didn't fight it and it lasted up to her appointment to take the staples out and a week after that until she was completely healed. I'll be keeping it but hope she will never need it again.The size runs very small for a Yorkie don’t buy a medium looks like a extra small plus I ordered a pink one And got a dark blueMy lab has a hotspot on her leg and this is allowing me to put medication on it without her licking it off.Just be sure to measure appropriately. Our little guy was able to angle himself in such a way he could look down upon his front paw and get over the edge.This has been the best cone I have bought. My dog is 96lbs and this is the first cone that doesn’t destroy my shins and the first cone my Dog not only slept with but didn’t fight us putting it onSoft,yet effective!My Ozzy doesn't mind this cone.I love this ecollar. My dog doesn't mind it nearly as much as the standard veterinary cones. She will finally lie down with it on. She will be wearing it often due to mast cell tumor surgeries, so comfort is important. I sized by her neck and it is a perfect fit. Snug but not choking.
